All lacrosse michigan began innocently as "The Ann Arbor Lacrosse Examiner".  Dissatisfied with the way The Examiner was being run, I developed and launched alm. The goal was to cover the sport from Grand Rapids to St. Clare Shores. I photographed the games, interviewed the news makers and created the "Monday Morning Mumbo", The Blow-Out counter and sparked interest with my weekly rankings and commentary. 

Fast forward to 2017, where I took a full-time teaching job and my sports coverage grew. I was taking photographs of soccer, volleyball, basketball, hockey, baseball, softball, tennis and golf. I've been blessed to have covered 10+ MHSAA Championships in seven different sports. I've built relationships and enjoyed every moment. 

Now, in 2026, I'm looking to continue the journey - but as ALM+. Yes, I will still be covering lacrosse - I love it! But, I will be adding all of the other sports to the portfolio and prose. 

65 is the new 50! Let's enjoy the journey together!
